IaaS Cloud Computing Service based on GPU Virtualization Technology

In this study, we propose an IaaS architecture that is based on GPU virtualization Technology. This IaaS architecture provides the high availability according to virtualize GPU computing resources. Each virtual machine in this architecture can execute a GPU program. In the experiments, we test three computations such as matrix multiply, prefix sum and mote carlo on the proposed IaaS architecture. The results show that the performances of these three computations on the proposed architectures are similar to those of the GPU device without virtualization.
